What to remove before you redesign your website.
Before any new design, an honest subtraction pass. Most sites get better at this stage and never reach the redesign.
Pull out anything that exists because someone was afraid to remove it.
Remove the second call to action. Remove the third. If the first one is right, you do not need the others.
Cut every section that begins with the words 'we are'. Rewrite them as 'you can'.
Now decide whether you still need a redesign.
